Description

WWII Japanese Navy Officers' Signed Kai-Gunto. 24 ½-inch bright blade with wavy temper line; 35 ½-inches overall. Bronze tsuba. Cloth-wrapped black shark skin handle with standard three cherry blossom menuki. All other fittings are gilded brass. Brown officer's tassel. Polished shark skin covered scabbard gilded mounts.

Condition: Excellent. Blade is bright with virtually no blemishes. Scabbard with one or two very small missing pieces of shark skin wrap.
