U.S. Ames 1862 Officers Naval Cutlass.32-inches in overall length. 26-inch slightly curved blade with a 16-inch fuller. Ricasso dated 1862. Large brass handguard reading: U.S.N. Wire-wrapped leather handle.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs present to leather.
