Description
Rare U. S. Model 1833 Dragoon Saber. 34ΒΌ-inch slightly curved single edged blade marked AMES/ CUTLER/ SPRINGFIELD/ 1837 on the obverse ricasso and UNITED STATES on the reverse. Brass half-basket hilt. Iron scabbard. Condition: Fair. Blade remains straight with some scattered spotting. Wooden grip cracked and lacking the leather covering and wire wrap.
