Description
Pair of US Sabers.The first saber is marked "U.S. J.H 1857 Ames MFG. Co. Chicopee, Mass" at the top of the 35 1/2" blade. The blade has a few nicks, but overall fine. The leather wired grip has some scuff marks, while the pommel and guard are in fine condition. The scabbard has its hangers and drag, having just some minor wear. The leather belt and rig are in good condition, while the buckle is in fine condition. The second saber is not marked, and the 34" blade has light even wear and few nicks. The leather wire wrapped grip has some scuff marks, and the pommel and guard are in very good condition. The scabbard retains the hangers and drag, and has some light scattered rust.
