Description

P1858 British Enfield Socket Bayonet, Scabbard and Frog. Absolutely the finest we've ever seen. Bayonet mint with some light dried grease on the bright blade. Retains 99% of the original bright blue on the socket. Socket also die stamped with the letter "C" and numeral "139". Scabbard, brass tip, and throat all perfect. The frog is also mint, retaining the small brass buckle and leather closure tab. Frog marked on the back "B H & C 20", also lightly scratched in script with what was the owner's name "Gilly". Absolutely none finer.
