Lot of Two Japanese Military Swords. Comprising: 1.) Japanese 1883 Series Naval Officers' Sword. 25 ½-inch slightly-curved blade with fullers running nearly the entire length. Unpierced brass guard with two cherry blossoms with nine-leaf design. "D" guard with locking folding counterguard. White ray skin handle. Shark skin case with two mounting rings and brass mounts and drag decorated with cherry blossom designs. 2.) Japanese Army Type 19 Company Grade Kyu-Gunto with 28 ¾-inch slightly curved blade with wavy temper line. Brass guard with black buffalo horn grip. Plated metal scabbard with single mounting ring.
