Description
Lot of Two Chinese Edged Weapons. Comprising: 1) Chinese Short Sword. 21-inch blade with curved brass guard and integral D-guard and single quillon. Hardwood grip nicely carved on one side. 2) Composite Chinese D-Guard Short Sword. 17-inch slightly curved blade with single quillon guard and integral D-shaped knucklebow. Brass grip and flat, circular pommel with applied, later era figural cap. Condition: 1) Fair to good. Heavy age wear and patina. Blade with numerous nicks and dents. Brass with mellow age patina. Grip with crack on flat side. 2) Good. Blade with patches of pitting. Guard very good with nice age patina.Auction Info
