Lot of Four U.S. and British Swords. Including: 1.) British Pattern 1898 Royal Engineers Officers sword with Edward VII cypher. The blade measures 32 ½-inches; the sword 39-inches overall. The obverse ricasso is marked "G. E. Carrington / Old Brompton / & / London". Both sides of the blade are ornately engraved. Plated basket guard hilt with Edward VII cypher. Wire-wrapped fish skin grips. Leather sword knot. Leather wrapped scabbard. 2.) 1902 Army Officers' sword. 28 ¾-inch bright, slightly curved blade engraved on either side. Complete with plated scabbard. 3.) Marine Corps dress sword marked Hilborn & Hamburger. 31-inch, bright engraved blade. Complete with scabbard. 4.) German-made Marine Corps Officers' sword with a Vanguard retail mark. 34-inch bright plated blade ornately engraved on either side. Mameluke hilt. Complete with scabbard.
