Japanese Kyu-Gunto Sword. 24-inch slightly curved single edge blade with no visible temper line. Brass quillon/bow/knuckle guard. Backstrap with sun more in the Chinese style and with crossed flags and other floral elements. Ray skin and wire-wrapped grip. Metal scabbard with lightly gilded drag and throat. Condition: Good. Blade is slightly wavy with some scattered spotting and few nicks to the edge. The locking mechanism spring is broken. The scabbard is dent free and has a light coating of film from storage and age.
