Inscribed Shamshir.

Having a 30-inch curved blade with raised gold gilt features [including a raised element over crown and rosette]. Spine inscribed M. SARNJAK. Straight crossguard with embossed work; small rectangular coral stone on one side of guard. Smooth leather wrapped grip with rosette inserts and embossed proof/crown motif. Brass pommel cap embellished with a few circular stones [light blue]. Scabbard, leather wrapped with embossed mounts and exotic stones. Appears to be early 20th century, although extremely well-made. M. Sarnjak appears to be a sword maker.

Condition: Very good. Blade showing age wear [cleaned], light pitting and patina. Grip with wear and scuffs to leather. Pommel cap and crossguard with wear, patina.
