Indo-Persian Shamshir Sword with Scabbard.

Approximately 41-inches in overall length with a 36-inch Damascus curved blade. Oversized straight crossguard with fluted cap finials with engraved pattern [guard replaced]. Massive two-piece horn grip, decorated floral burst rivets on each side and engraved spine. Contained embossed leather scabbard and 3/4 silver mounted in stages with decorative engravings and sling swivels. Unidentified proof marks present near sling swivel. Metal display stand.

Condition: Scattered wear and pitting present, overall in very good condition. Scabbard with wear and shrinkage to leather, light pitting to mounts and patina.
