Indo-Persian Kalij. 33 ¼-inch curved blade with gold-inlaid scrolls and panel with Indo-Persian inscription. Multi-element hilt with scroll-engraved silver-plated crossguard with scroll finials. Floral-engraved grip and pommel with appliquéd leaf overlay. Bullion wire sword knot. Contained in original black leather covered wooden scabbard with brass mountings engraved en suite. Bullion wire median panel. Two hanger rings. Condition: Very good, showing age wear and patina.Auction Info
