Description
Early European Ornate Cup Hilt Rapier. 36-inch unmarked straight blade of diamond section. Ricasso marked: 268 JKL (John Lattimer inventory number). Wire wrapped grip with straight quillons and simple pommel cap. Five curved ring guard Cup with ornate and grotesque punch pattern attached with screws. Overall length: 43-inches. Condition: Very good. Showing age wear and mellow patina. Rapier cleaned and repaired. Cup pitted.Auction Info
