Description
An Extremely Fine Shinto Sukesada Katana with Magnificent Sukesada Crab Claw Choji Hamon.The blade with 75.2 cm cutting edge and classic Sukesada crab claw hamon. Tight itame hada, nakago is ubu with one hole, yoko yasurimai. 15 character Sukesada signature and date. Condition of blade in full perfect polish with all Sukesada beautiful crab claw temper and details clearly visible. Long yakidashi, absolutely flawless blade, perfect nakago. In honoki wood shirasaya with finely executed sayagaki and kakehan. Buketsukuri mounts, comprised of fuchi-kashira with gilt carp. Water wheel shakudo gilt menuki. Iron tsuba with gilt dragonflies. Elaborate red and black lacquer saya. Sword also has double gold foil wrapped habaki. Comes complete with NTHK paper (80 pt) and NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper.
