A Fabulous Contemporary Samurai Sword by Wahei Winner of a Contest in 1993 with this Sword.The blade with 76 cm cutting edge and wide and beautiful curved with complex and active choji hamon reminiscent of the best by Ikanshi Tada Tsuna. Tight itame hada, the beauty of this sword enhanced by a superbly cut hi extending half way thru the nakago. Ubu nakago with on mekugi-ana and 3 character Tachi mae. Sword is essentially perfect as it was in 1993 when it won, this magficent blade with honoki wood shirasaya describing its victorious entry in to 1993 contest and also has beautiful made gold foil habaki.
