Lot of Two (2) 19th Century Neurosurgical Trepanation Kits.

Comprising: 1) Cased set by Weiss. 100% complete with key. Contained in original wooden case measuring 9 x 5-inches. 2) Cased set by Snowden. 100% complete with key, as well. Separate compartment with scalpel marked "Snowden", Saw marked " Snowden / Phila.". Contained in original wooden case measuring 9 1/2 by 3-inches. Note: Both sets contain multiple Trephine tools, the tools were used primarily for cranial surgeries to remove sections of the skull to relieve pressure or treat head injuries.

Condition: Fine to excellent with minimal wear on both. Snowden set with some scattered pitting to blades, otherwise fine.
