Description

French Walking Stick with Concealed Sword.

Overall length is 35 1/2-inches. This is typical of a French walking stick from the 1700s with a carved horn pommel. The dagger has a 12 1/2-triangular shape blade and has plenty of signs of bluing and etching. Leather lanyard, a more current replacement. The ferrule is 2 1/2-inches and it's made of steel. Note: showing years of wear and it's tip seems to reveal that it was once carried by a left-handed gentleman, you be the judge.

Condition: Fine, showing handling and age wear. Some scuffs to wood and finish loses to blade. Tip curved slightly.
