Description

[George Armstrong Custer]: Cheyenne Arrow from Little Big Horn Battlefield. Plains arrow measuring 26 3/4", with the metal point measuring 2 7/8". The arrow was picked a few days after the battle by Sam and Elizabeth Kirchner. The arrow has wear from use, and the metal point is loose. Overall, a fine display from a seminal moment in our country's history.

Provenance: Ex John C. Rummel Collection (with letter from Rummel), relic certificate from Dwain Rogers Texas Flint Association.
