Description

Late 18th or Early 19th Century Dragoon Saber. An elegant saber with a 33" single-edge straight blade with faint floral etching. Marked "La Veuve Eickhorn" on top edge of blade near hilt. Brass half-basket hilt with an attractive shell and vine style and fluted brass pommel. Brass wire wrapped shagreen grips. The tip of the blade is dulled and each side of the blade has scattered light pitting and dark spots. An impressive saber worthy of more research.
