Rare Two Blade Dirk Knife by G. Crookes & Co.

Approximately 9 1/2-inches fully opened. 4-inch spear point blade marked G. CROOKES / & CO. / SHEFFIELD along with a 2 1/2-inch utility blade also marked G. CROOKES / & CO. / SHEFFIELD. Fabolous horn grip scales, the left side with a German silver, shield escutcheon. German silver quillons with graceful shell and scroll design. German silver pommel mounts with lobed and grape vine motifs. Note: This knife previously sold at Butterfield and Butterfield's May 1994 Arms and Armor sale [#6036A] as lot 1256. Condition: Age handling wear, blade has been refreshed/cleaned. Scales in fine to excellent condition with minor wear. Blades snap open and close.
