Description
Lot of Two U.S. Fighting Knives.Comprising: 1) U.S.M.C. Bolo Knife by Chatillon. 11 1/4-inch rounded steel blade marked: U.S.M.C./CHATILLON, N.Y. Smooth hardwood grip panels retained by two of the original three brass pins. Third pin has been removed to create hole for leather thong. 2) Unmarked Brush Knife. 10-inch steel blade with hook. Curved steel knucklebow/guard. Stacked leather washer grip.
Condition: 1) Good. Blade a smooth, mottled gray-brown patina. Chips to back edge. Wood is excellent as configured. 2) Good. Moderate age wear and patina.
