Lot of Two (2) Exotic Folders, Including A Mel Pardue Lockback Folder.

Comprising: 1) Mel Pardue Lockback Folder. Approximately 8-inches overall. 3 1/2-inch hand rubbed satin finish blade marked PARDUE / E-1 with thumbstud. Stainless steel bolsters with micarta scales. Jeweled release. Note: Mel Pardue started making knives in 1957. Mel joined the Knifemakers Guild in 1976. 2) Exotic Folder by G.L. Barnes. 7-inches overall. 3-inch drop point blade with maker's mark design and partially serrated top edge. Stained wood/stag carved handle with floral motif, steel pins. Polished stainless steel figured bolsters. Note: According to his website, Gary L. Barnes began making knives professionally in 1975. "After college, I opened a custom cabinet shop. I built furniture for a number of years. Around 1975, I began building handmade custom pocket knives."

Condition: Both knives in great shape with minor wear and use. Some faint marks and scratches from storage.
