Lot of Three (3) Mel Pardue Custom Lockback Folders.

Comprising: 1) Approximately 11-inches overall. Coffin-style lockback marked on blade PARDUE. Satin finished 4-inch spear blade with false top edge. Engraved nickel silver bolsters in a scrollwork pattern marked HL. Hardwood scales with mosaic pins. 2) Approximately 7 1/2-inches overall. Lockback folder marked PARDUE on blade. Satin finish 3-inch blade. Engraved nickel silver bolsters in a scrollwork pattern also marked HL. Black Mother of Pearl scales. 3) Approximately 9 3/4-inches overall. Satin finish drop point blade marked PARDUE. Satin finished bolsters. Stag scales. Jeweled release, stainless steel backspacer.
Note: Mel Pardue started making knives in 1957. Mel joined the Knifemakers Guild in 1976.

Condition: 1) Excellent, minor storage wear and handling. 2) Fine with minor wear and use. A few pitting marks, scuffs to knife top edge near PARDUE marking, also some light cleaning around the PARDUE marking. Light pitting to tang and backspacer area. 3) Fine, minor storage and handling wear present. Light scratches to finish.
