J.D. Chevalier California Bowie Knife with Leather Scabbard.8-inch clip-point blade marked: CHEVALIER CALIFORNIA KNIFE / J.D. CHEVALIER / NEW YORK. Brass blade guard. One-piece stag grip with brass pommel. 14-inches in overall length. Contained in leather scabbard with German silver fittings.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing honest handling wear and age, some patches of pitting. Cracking and discoloring present to leather. Collection of a Southern Gentleman.
