Description
Indo-Persian Khanjar with Decorated Handle.Approximately 15-inches overall with a 9 1/4-inch steel double edge curved blade. With additional gilt Arabic decoration on either side of the blade. A beautiful 20th century contemporary example with cast steel handle enhanced with a decorative engraving of classic form showing ancient wildlife and floral elements. Contained in velour lined scabbard.
Condition: Very good with some marks and fine scratches to handle. Watered blade with minor spots and toning. Scabbard with normal handling wear/use.
