Description
English Made Bowie Knife and German Hunting Knife.Includes: 1) Small clipped-point Bowie knife with a 4 3/4-inch blade (8 3/4-inches overall). Stag grips. German silver oval cross guard. Left side of blade marked "EBRO"; ricasso marked "ALFRED / WILLIAMS / SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND". Brown leather scabbard. 2) German hunting knife, 3 1/2-inch blade (9-inches overall). Horn handle. Marked "SOLINGEN" on the left side of the blade. Brown leather scabbard.
Condition: 1) Good. Blade with some spotting and a gray patina. 2) Fair. Blade with some spotting and evidence of sharpening. From the Collection of Dr. Phillip R. Rutherford.
