Emerson Pre-Tact Model
Custom Linerlock Folder by Emerson.Approximately 9-inches overall. 4-inch satin finish blade marked EMERSON [Half-Moon logo style] with thumbstud. Anodized titanium bolsters with jeweled anodized liners [purple-rose pink pattern]. Harwood scales. A Masterpiece by Ernie Emerson.
Note: According to an online search, Ernie Emerson is an American custom knifemaker, martial artist and edge weapons expert. Originally he was an engineer and machinist in the aerospace industry. Wikipedia states, "In the 1980s he became better known for his combat knives and popularizing a style of knife known as the Tactical-folder. This example for auction is considered a "Pre-Tactical model". Currently his pre-tact knives are in high demand and seldom seen. This is 1 of 2 Emerson knives in this sale.
Condition: Excellent. Very little use or wear, some fine marks overall. Snaps open, soft close.
