Description

Japanese Tanto in Koshirae.
Having a slightly curved flat 7 1/4" blade with wavy temper line and wood grain finish. Silver habaki with diagonal lines on the surface. Contained in black lacquered wooden scabbard. Appears to be Bakumatsu period (late 1800s).
Condition: Blade excellent with one small kizu. Scabbard with a few chips at the bottom edge.
