Description
Japanese Showa Period Katana Attributed to Kane Nobusaku.24 3/4-inch signed blade. One hole in the tang. Typical military brass tsuba decorated with cherry blossoms. Cloth-wrapped ray skin handle. Saya in a protective red leather cover. Single brass mounting ring. An old tag attached to the sword reads "No Shu Ju o Ya / Kane No Bu Saku" but this attribution is unverified at the time of this sale.
Condition: Very good. Some handling marks on the blade, otherwise an attractive sword.
