Description
Japanese Edo Period Katana Military Dressed with Russo-Japanese Era Mounts.Having a slightly curved blade measuring 26 3/4" with wavy temper line. Silver habaki with diagonal lines on surface. Typical Russo-Japanese war military mounts. Blade appears late Edo period.
Condition: Blade is very good showing a few brown finger prints and areas of dark staining. Hilt is excellent with lightly toned brass, fishskin grip and triple-wire wrap. Nickel plated steel scabbard shows brown staining.
