Good Short Heavy Japanese Matchlock Tanegashima.With good heavy russet iron 26 3/8-inch round barrel with top flat. Bore approximately 70 caliber. Silver mon (a later addition). Meiji registration markings. Snap matchlock action. Full length fluted oak stock. Overall length is: 37 1/2-inches.
Condition: Overall is good, fence is replaced. Minor imperfections throughout. Bore poor. Action works.
