Edo Period Japanese Wakizashi in Koshirae
Having a slightly curved 21 3/8" blade with faint temper line, partial groove on one side. Copper habaki, no tsuba. Black cord-wrapped fishskin grip with flower menuki. Matching brass fuchi & kashira decorated with diagonal lines. Housed in ray-skin veneer wooden scabbard.

Condition: Blade is very good-excellent brightly polished showing a few small kizu. Grip is excellent showing minor wear only. Scabbard measures 28", and exhibits repaired splits in the rayskin and wear to the black surface.
