Description

Middle Eastern Jambiya.
7-inch curved blade of standard form. Great design, pattern on punch dot engraving pattern throughout with rings in between silver string. Silver ornaments. Repousee and filigree to tip area of scabbard. Leather wrap feature to back of Jambiya. With hanging leather pouch for dirk. Overall length approximately 13-inches. According to the consignor, this item was purchased in Oman, on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula in the mid-1970's by Shirley Temple Black to complement her decorating and collecting habits.
Provenance: From the Estate of Shirley Temple Black.

Condition: Good to very good for its age. Nice tarnish overall. Blade with some pitting and surface rust. A few dings and bruising to silver and metal elements.
