Lot of Two (2) European Seaman Dirks.

Comprising; 1) Possibly French, 14 1/2-inches overall with a 10-inch spearpoint blade, unusual flat side. Horn handle. 2) Possibly German, 16-inches overall with a 11-inch spearpoint blade. Wooden handle. Deaccession number 8647L with yellow marking on edge of grip. According to consignor notes, both edge weapons were deaccessioned from the De Young Museum in San Francisco, Calif. Note: This has not been verified.

Condition: Both appear to be in good condition. Smooth gray patina blades, cleaned at some point. Grips very good with minor wear. Minor pitting to blades. Slightly bent tip to longer blade. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
