Large Ancient Middle Eastern Luristan Bronze Spear - Blade.

Spear measures 18 3/4-inches in overall length, with a 10-inch [triangular] blade. A substantial bronze spear head with triangular blade, central strengthening rib and a long tapering rat-tail, two-stage tang, offset at the base. The bronzes of Lorestan (or Luristan according to sources) are bronze sculptures from the beginning of the Iron Age that were found in large numbers in the province of Lorestan, in the Middle East.

Condition: Very good. Overall showing noticeable signs of age, wear and surface rust.
