German Deluxe Hunting Dagger by Clemen & Jung, Circa 1933-1940.

A beautiful example with an 11-inch bright blade 15.5-inches overall) ornately etched on each side with panels featuring hunting and forest scenes. Clemen & Jung maker's mark on the reverse ricasso. Ornately decorated gilded-brass hilt, the quillon terminating in a deer hoof design. Unique clamshell guard decorated with a hunting dog. Stag grips adorned with three gilt acorns on either side. Black metal scabbard with gilded-brass throat and drag each numbered "24". The frog stud is decorated with what appears to be a pheasant.

Condition: Overall excellent. The blade remains bright and without flaw. A portion of the decoration has been ground just above the clamshell guard.
