Description
Massive Bowie Knife by J. Drew and Sons.Approximately 16-inches overall with a 10-inch clip point blade. The false edge is sharp. Blade marked EXPLORER. Ricasso marked J. DREW & SON / 33 & 37 PICADILLY CIRCUS W. / AND 156, LEADENHALL'S E.C. Nickel-silver S shape cross guard. A very large and impressive 19th Century hunting or Bowie knife by retailers J. Drew & Son London. Checkered hardwood handle. Complete with the original brown leather sheath.
Condition: Fine with scattered marks and wear on blade. The blade has lots of the original polish, few minor nicks to edge present. Scabbard with some marks and scuffs from storage. Moderate wear/use near tip.
