Description
Danish Model 1867 and Model 1873 Export Sword Bayonets.Comprising: 1.) Presumed Danish 1867 sword bayonet (many similar variations exist making exact identification difficult) with a 21 ½-inch bright blade marked "EBP WEYERSBURG / SOLINGEN" on the ricasso. Checkered black grips. Marked "2AB. 299" on the guard. Cast brass hilt. 2.) Model 1873 bayonet with a 20-inch bright blade marked with unidentified proof marks.
Condition: 1.) Very good. Light surface rust near the tip of the blade with scattered areas of staining. Grip panels worn. 2.) Excellent.
