Andrew Jackson: Signed Naval Appointment and Memorial Ribbon. 10" x 7 1/2" printed and manuscript document signed by Andrew Jackson as President and Lewis Woodbury as Secretary of the Navy, appointing John Mooney a midshipman. Dated June 5, 1834. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 29" x 17", along with an 1845 silk memorial ribbon and a metal caption plaque

Condition: Minor chipping to wood frame. Normal folds. Jackson's signature is very nice.
