Description
Scarce Blakeslee Speed Loader for Spencer Cartridges.12.5" tall hexagonal brown leather receptacle with wooden insert and attached leather strap. Marked: "Blakeslee's Cartridge Box U.S. Pat'd Dec. 20, 1864 E. Gaylord Chicopee, Mass." Some verdigris to metal parts and white moisture residue, easily cleaned. Very good condition.
