2nd Type Confederate Richmond Sharps Type Carbine .52 Caliber Percussion Serial #3355 Lock serial numbered 3355 matching the barrel tang. 21" barrel with V-notch rear sight and tapered iron front sight, bore is dark but with well defined rifling. Tight action. Barrel is gray with even light pitting, frame / lock and saddle ring bar are mostly smooth and gray with small areas of minor pitting, lever gray with scattered light pitting. Saddle ring bar stamped with #3. Brass mountings very good. Wood shows scattered dents and scratches and two small holes at the cheek.Auction Info
