Eleventh edition. With engraved frontispiece portrait, illustrated title page and eight fold-out maps and plans. Large quarto. Ex-library copy with filing label on spine. Contemporary leather, rebacked in cloth with raised bands and gilt title label on spine. All edges stained red. Some rubbing, bumping, soiling, and scratching to extremities with some loss at corners and along board edges. Front and rear hinges cracked. Some pages and maps torn along edges, repaired with tape. Some foxing and chipping scattered throughout. Bookplate. Good.Auction Info
