[No place, Joseph Skelton, 1823]. First edition. Profusely illustrated with fifty black and white engraved plates, plus map and illustrated title page. Contemporary half-leather over marbled boards with raised bands, spine lettered in gilt. All edges gilt. Extremities bumped, rubbed, soiled and edgeworn with some surface loss. Front and rear joints cracked, covers starting. Light foxing scattered throughout. Very good.
