The name of the film's co-director "James Algar" is written on the cover in Walt Disney's handwriting, along with 250+ handwritten annotations throughout the script including: "Alternate - New....Your mad escapades...your wild extravagances...Toad! You're a disgrace to the entire British Empire.", "Cut Out Your money's just no good with Toady around", "MacBadger If you can't be more careful toad we'll have to leave you behind!" Additionally annotated by Disney with extensive underlined passages of dialogue, bracketed passages, etc. in blue and red pencil throughout. Kenneth Grahame's stories come to life in this Disney adaptation originally released in 1949. It comprises the first half of the feature film, The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad.
