Wind in the Willows script with W. Disney's notes 43. Wind in the Willows, dialogue script with over 250 of Walt Disney's handwritten annotations throughout. (Walt Disney, 1949) Dialogue script dated May 16, 1946. The script is broken down into sequences instead of conventional page numbers and appears complete. The name of the film's co-director "James Algar" is written on the cover in Walt Disney's handwriting, along with 250+ handwritten annotations throughout the script including: "Alternate - New....Your mad escapades...your wild extravagances...Toad! You're a disgrace to the entire British Empire.", "Cut Out Your money's just no good with Toady around", "MacBadger If you can't be more careful toad we'll have to leave you behind!" Additionally annotated by Disney with extensive underlined passages of dialogue, bracketed passages, etc. in blue and red pencil throughout. Kenneth Grahame's stories come to life in this Disney adaptation originally released in 1949. It comprises the first half of the feature film, The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad.
