First edition, limited to 500 sets of which this is number 342, signed by Roosevelt on the limitation page in the first volume. Two octavo volumes. xvi, [2], 268, viii, [2], 269-529 pages. With fifty illustrated or photographic plates. Publisher's tan three-quarter leather over beige paper boards. Titles stamped in blind with blind-ruled borders on spines. All edges untrimmed. Some wear to the bindings, especially the joints and spine ends. Corners rubbed and/or exposed. A few small abrasions and light soiling to paper boards of each volume. Spine tail of Volume I with a tiny split. Light offsetting to endpapers from binding leather. Internally very clean. A very good copy.
