Working with the Hands. New York: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1904. Small 8vo. First Edition. Red cloth over boards with gilt title and frontispiece photograph of Washington. A sequel to Washington's famous autobiography, Up from Slavery. Bookplate from the Tabard Inn Library on front pastedown.
Condition: Sowing and Reaping has heavy soiling; with some wear to boards, which have the corners exposed. Man Farthest down has sunned spined and bumped corners. Working with the Hands has sunned spine, bumped corners, and light ring stains to top bord.
