First edition, one of only 300 copies signed by the authors (this being copy number 239) on the limitation page, and additionally signed by Jones on the frontispiece portrait. Octavo. 239, [1, blank] pages. With frontispiece portrait, tissue guard, and twenty-four plates inserted. Publisher's vellum backstrip over green cloth boards, front cover decoratively stamped in gilt, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt. Some mild rubbing to binding, some foxing to backstrip, text overopened in a few places, bookseller's ticket on the recto of the rear free endpaper. Lacks the rare slipcase (as is most common for this title). A near fine copy of this rare and desirable golf book. Sold with a later reprint of this title.
