Signed by the author to the front free endpaper recto. Octavo. 359, [1, blank] pages. Publisher's first issue binding in navy blue cloth stamped in red and white; original first issue dust jacket without blurbs on the spine. Minor edgewear, skewed, somewhat rubbed. Cream endpapers; toned. Internally clean and tight; textblock edges toned with minor wear. Dust jacket unclipped ($2.50); heavy edgewear with losses to edges, head and foot of spine, and corners, rubbed and somewhat soiled, front panel creased. Housed in custom black cloth clamshell case backed in black morocco. Very good book with fair dust jacket.
