Jack Vance. Four "Tschai Series" Signed and Numbered, Limited First Editions, including: City of the Chasch; Servants of the Wankh; The Dirdir; The Pnume. San Francisco: Underwood-Miller, 1979-1981. First hardcover editions. Four octavo volumes. All are number 22 of 111 copies, except The Pnume, which is number 7. All are signed by the author and illustrator David Ireland on the limitation page.(1) Navy-blue cloth with gilt titles on spine and front cover. (2) Green cloth with white titles on spine and front cover. (3) Yellow cloth with black titles on spine and front cover. (4) Lavender cloth with silver titles on spine and front cover. Illustration affixed to front cover. No dust jackets. Overall very fine. This lot includes stunning limited editions of all four novels in Vance's "Tschai," or Planet of Adventure, series. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
