With eight full-page color illustrations and five divisional plates printed in orange.

Publisher's blue-gray full cloth. Front with black and white titles and decoration. Gilt spine titles, dulled. Illustrated endpapers. Lightly rubbed with a mildly darkened backstrip. Front hinge cracked. A couple of sprung gatherings. Page 135 lacking small portion from upper corner. Mildly toned pages. A very good copy.
